Frontend Website Development

I was part of successful a Prince's Trust project that applied for funding to get trained in website development technologies so that we could create a website that sign-posted local & national organisations that provide young people with information, advice and support. This was the precursor for me to start learning various different website technologies that I now use to provide my clients with high-quality WordPress websites.

Web Developer

I developed the website for Dual Recovery Anonymous (UK) website.

This 12 Step Programme was developed for those suffering from some form of addiction and at least one concurrent mental health problem.

I developed this site using Joomla to collate and display all of this organisation's information along with a directory of their meetings.

In 2011, I set up Web Design Factory to provide my clients with affordable website development tailored to the needs of my clients.

In 2020, I decided to start a new website development business to market my services.

This CIC organisation was set up to provide WordPress website development services to Tradesmen, other CIC's, SMEs, Charities & Educational Organisations.

With the profits from this social enterprise, I am going to develop a recovery resources website aimed at vulnerable adults who suffer from some form of addiction and concurrent mental health disorders.

Developed the Dual Diagnosis Hub Websites

I built a very simple website that signposted a number of the most useful of dual diagnosis-related organisations, tools, frameworks, support groups and resources, but in May 2021, I started learning how to develop much more advanced and useful dynamic websites . I have come a long way since then and have acquired a whole load of new skills in WordPress website development.

Graduated as a Fellow of the School of Social Entrepreneurs

Halfway through participating in the SSE Start-Up Programme I decided to change course and focus on what I was most passionate about which was working on improving dual diagnosis provision for people with co-occurring mental health & addiction issues. So, Next Level Web Design CIC became Dual Diagnosis Hub CIC.

Rebuilt the Dual Diagnosis Anonymous (UK) Website

The Dual Diagnosis Anonymous (DDA) UK website required dynamic functionality for both a meetings directory and lots of text/image/video pages. I also added a small resources directory, among a whole load of different features needed including advanced forms.

Built Love Outdoors CIC's Site with Places & Events Directories.

This project was a lot simpler than the Dual Diagnosis Hub sites, but it was still an interesting project to work on.

Developed the DRA World Services Site

In 2022, Charlie Adams from Dual Recovery Anonymous World Services Inc asked me to rebuild the big but very old draonline.org website. DRA is a 12 Step Fellowship for people with complex mental health & addiction recovery challenges, so it was an honour to work on such an interesting project. We launched it in January 2023.

Completed the Aster Inc Social Incubator Programme

Having completely changed my plans halfway through the SSE Start-Up Programme, in 2021, I decided that I wanted to participate in another exciting social entrepreneur experience by focusing entirely on the Dual Diagnosis Hub CIC, and I left the programme feeling a lot more sure of the directions that I wanted to go with creating my social impact and how I was going to pay for it.
